Man robbed at knifepoint by ex-girlfirend’s new boyfriend in Yucca Valley
A man was robbed at knifepoint by his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend Tuesday morning in Yucca Valley.
Deputies received reports of the robbery at 11:26 a.m. at a residence on the 57000 Block of Vaduz Ave. in Yucca Valley.
Deputies arrived at the residence and contacted the victim who reported his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend, later identified as Dennis Williams, robbed him by holding a knife to his throat.
Williams told the victim he would kill him if he continued talking to his ex-girlfriend. Williams punched the victim in the face causing him to drop his cell phone on the ground. Williams picked up the cell phone and left the location.
Deputies contacted Williams at the ex-girlfriend’s residence. Williams admitted to driving to the victim’s residence and picking up the cell phone from the ground.
A search was conducted of Williams’ vehicle where deputies found the cell phone and the knife used in the robbery. The victim positively identified Williams as the suspect. Williams was found to be on community supervision due to AB 109. State Parole was contacted and a no-bail warrant was issued for his arrest. Williams was arrested and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail for robbery and the no bail warrant.
