Indian Canyon Reopens After High Winds Die Down

Indian Canyon has reopened to traffic at its wash crossing, Palm Springs police said early today.

The road had been shut down between Interstate 10 and Tramview Road since Monday evening. Police said high winds, blowing sand and reduced visibility moved them to close the road, but conditions improved overnight.
