New Hair Treatment Tames Unruly Hair
A new hair treatment can you give a million dollar look, without a million dollar price tag. It turns curly, frizzy hair into silky smooth locks. It not only looks good, but it’s also good for your hair.
If it’s short, you want long. If it’s straight, you want curly. If it’s brown, you want blonde.
“You always want what you don’t have,” said Loretta Mosher, customer at Bungalow Salon.
Women and their hair have a strange relationship.
“It’s all over the place,” said Mosher.
Mosher is a slave to her wavy, unruly hair. Everyday she blow dries and straightens, but never gets the look she’s looking for.
“It’s too much work, too difficult,” said Mosher.
A new hair treatment called the Brazilian Blowout promises to end hair distress.
“She’ll have salon hair at home in minutes, instead of hours,” said Eddie Ortiz, hair stylist at Bungalow Salon.
In the past, if someone with curly hair wanted straight hair, they’d need to use harsh chemicals or blow dry and flat iron every day, which is damaging on the hair. The Brazilian Blowout is good for your hair.
“It has a keratin additive which keeps it conditioned and puts it into a healthy state,” said Ortiz.
The process takes about 90 minutes. Ortiz brushes on a conditioning and straightening serum, blow dries and then straightens out the waves and frizz.
“It’s closing the cuticle because when it’s wide open that causes curl and frizz,” said Ortiz.
The smooth look lasts about three months. Vikky Hume had it done five weeks ago.
“It’s amazing,” said Hume.
Now, getting ready is fast and easy.
‘”I just hand dry it and it falls into place, dead straight,” said Hume.
Hume doesn’t rely on blow drying or a flat iron anymore. She can wake up and go.
“I love it, I love it,” said Hume.
As Mosher’s new look is revealed, she also falls in love.
“I love it. I get to wake up to this everyday,” said Mosher.
In just an hour-and-an- half, the bad relationship Mosher had with her hair is all straightened out.
