Weekend Domestic Dispute Ends In Murder
One man is dead, and another is in custody, after a deadly shooting in Indio over the weekend.
Indio Police tells News Channel 3 the victim was involved in some sort of domestic disturbance Saturday night with another man who lived with him on the 81-200 block of Geranium Street. Police say it ended when the gunman, who was not involved in the argument, shot and killed the victim.
A short time later, police arrested 21-year-old Alejandro Sandoval of Indio, and booked him in the Indio jail on charges of murder. Sandoval is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday. He is behind bars on a $1 million bail.
The name of the victim has not been released, as police say it is part of an on-going investigation.
