Two Stabbed at Party in Desert Hot Springs
Two men are recovering after being stabbed early Sunday morning.
Neighbors reported hearing gunshots around 12:40 a.m. on the 15100 block of Avenida Monteflora. When officers arrived, they found a blood trail leading into a house.
They found a 21 year-old Desert Hot Springs resident with minor stab wounds.
Just minutes later, officers got a call from Desert Regional Medical Center saying a man walked into the emergency room with a stab wound. He was identified as a 20 year-old Desert Hot Springs resident. His wounds were considered more severe.
Officials have not released the names of either victim because the investigation in ongoing.
Investigators think there’s another person who was wounded, but don’t know if that person is another victim or a suspect.
They say the fight appears to be gang-related.
