Police Search For Two Suspected Of Luring Child To Their Car

Cathedral City Police are looking for two people who reportedly tried to get a child into their car Monday evening.

The incident happened along the 37-000 block of Bankside Drive in the cove area of the city.

Police tell News Channel 3 the car was an early-to-mid 2000s Ford Focus, 4-door, either tan or gold in color.

The driver was described as either a light-skinned Hispanic or White female adult in her mid to late thirties, with brown hair up in a ponytail and long red nails.

The male passenger was described as a light-skinned Hispanic or White male adult in his mid to late thirties, heavyset with a shaved head and a thin drooping moustache, wearing dark wraparound sunglasses.

Both were seen driving around the neighborhood for several days, calling to young children to get into their car.
