3.6 Quake Northwest of Palm Springs

A 3.6 magnitude earthquake rocked the desert this morning.

It hit just before 7 a.m. and U.S.G.S reported the epicenter about 10 miles north-northwest of Palm Springs or 4 miles south-southeast of Cabazon.

People from around the Coachella Valley called into KESQ saying they felt the ground shaking.
