Jet Blue Flight Makes Hard Landing, Starts Fire
JetBlue says a plane that blew its tires Thursday while landing in Sacramento may have had brake problems.
The hard landing caused minor injuries to 15 passengers and sent dozens of others down emergency slides to evacuate the aircraft.
A person waiting inside the terminal says an announcement on an intercom said the wheels had caught fire during the landing just before 1 p.m.
The airport says 86 passengers on the flight from Long Beach were taken to the terminal by buses.
