Fiorina Released From Hospital, Rejoins Campaign On Thursday
Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina has been released from the hospital two days after she checked in for an infection.
Fiorina’s spokeswoman Julie Soderlund said Fiorina was resting at home after leaving the hospital Wednesday.
Soderlund says Fiorina will resume her full campaign schedule Thursday.
Fiorina was sidelined by an infection related to her recent reconstructive surgery for breast cancer. The first-time candidate, who is 56, was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2009 before she formally announced her run against Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer.
Her illness forced her to cancel her appearances in Riverside and Coachella on Tuesday.
