Suspect Arrested In Desert Hot Springs Home Invasion Robbery

A Palm Desert man was in custody today for allegedly attacking a resident during a robbery at a home in Desert Hot Springs.

Quinton Gray, 51, was booked on suspicion of first-degree robbery, with bail set at $1 million, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. He is due in court Friday afternoon.

Gray allegedly struck the victim several times with an unspecified object before fleeing with property from a home in the 67800 block of Clubhouse Drive about 3 p.m. Wednesday.

He left the area in a silver Toyota Corolla that was pulled over later that afternoon by Desert Hot Springs officers.

The victim was treated for his injuries at a hospital, then released.

The passenger in the suspect’s car was interviewed by deputies, but was released from custody.
