Pink Heals Tour Visits Desert

Women with cancer, battling cancer and families who have lost someone to cancer have a friend in the Pink Heals Tour.

It’s a non-profit organization touring the United States every year in pink fire engines encouraging people stricken with cancer to keep fighting and on Tuesday it made a stop in the Coachella Valley.

The pink heals group traveled throughout the desert, ending with a final rally in Cathedral City at Town Square.

But the day began early in the morning, with the tour making stops at area hospitals and schools.

The group encouraged all of the women that they supported to sign the engines.

Any and all women who have survived or are currently battling cancer are more than welcome to join the tour at any and all rallies.
