Humana Debuts Well-Being Tour

Humana debuted its Well-Being Tour, a national mobile health initiative, in Bob Hope Square at this year?s Humana Challenge. Humana and pro golfers will unveil the display and provide a personal walk-through of the facilities.

The Humana Well-Being Tour, a 53 foot, custom Mack tractor trailer opens into an interactive hub that will tour the country for eight months and meet people where they live to give them a fresh perspective on healthy living. Activities stations include:

Humana Bike Stations: Use ?pedal power? to operate a blender bike and create your own smoothie

Humana Biometrics Stations: Visit one of four (non-invasive) biometric screening stations, receive personalized results and ask questions to qualified professionals

Xbox Kinect: Play the Humana co-branded Xbox Kinect ?Your Shape? game that demonstrates how being healthy can also be fun

Photo Station: Share physical feats using green screen technology

Walkit: Receive a pedometer with an RFID tag through the HumanaFit program to tracks your steps during the tournament

Well-Being Wall: Join in a living collage by sharing personal definitions of well-being

Pro golfers Bo Van Pelt, Brett Quigley, David Toms and Nancy Scranton joined Humana officials to open the facility to the public.

The well-being tour is open to the public through the end of the tournament.
