3.6 Earthquake Shakes Southern California
An earthquake measuring 3.6 in magnitude shook extreme Southern California on Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake hit an area 8 miles south-southwest of Seeley, 13 miles southwest of El Centro and 16 miles west Mexicali at around 12:50 p.m.
There were no reports of any damage or imjuries.
The USGS’s “Did You Feel It” map shows the quake was largely felt in El Centro as a light shaking.
