Crews rush to Desert Hot Springs garage fire

Riverside County firefighters are on the scene of a residential fire with the garage fully engulfed in flames.

Spokesperson Melody Hendrickson said the fire was reported at 11:35 a.m. on the 13700 block of Luis Drive, which is near the intersection of Verbena Road and 2 Bunch Palms Trail.

Firefighters reported the garage and a car inside were covered in flames and were able to contain it by 11:46 a.m., Hendrickson said.

There were no reports of any injuries.
