Thermal suspicious death turns into a homicide
Police arrested 32 year old Raul Sanchez Jr., he is accused in an East Valley murder.
Police responded to a home on Middleton Street near the 86 expressway in Thermal late yesterday (Wednesday) morning. When they arrived they found a woman dead inside the home. Officers say she appeared to be the victim of an assault.
Police located Sanchez near the crime scene. He is booked into the Riverside County jail in Indio and is being held on a million dollars bail.
Authorities have not released the name of the victim.
