CCHS Delivers Holiday Cheer To 40 Needy Families

Cathedral City High School students spent Wednesday delivering food and toys to needy families throughout Cathedral City.

The students collected toys, water, meals, and canned goods for nearly a month — filling dozens of Home Depot boxes to the brim.

Home Depot, in partnership with CCHS, donated boxes to fill, and drivers to take students from home to home, delivering the goods to families in need.

Feeder elementary schools in Cathedral City gave the school a list of 40 families that were in dire need of meals, as well as some holiday cheer.

Now in it’s 22nd year, Adopt-A-Family has served more than 900 families in Cathedral City.
