While cameras will be flashing as fans gather to get a glimpse of their favorite actors, will “Paparazzi” be an issue?
A deadly New Year’s Day crash, that killed a 29 year-old photographer, chasing down Justin Bieber, in Los Angeles has reignited the debate over stricter “Paparazz”i laws.
We asked industry insiders in town for the film festival what they think–and whether or not it’s a problem during the film festival.
Kathleen McInnis is a Hollywood Publicist for actor, Bill Pullman. She says, “If we’re describing “Paparazzi”, the sort of ‘”Stalkerazzi” as we call them, we haven’t had a problem with that at all.”
Following the “Paparazzi” death, Justin Bieber issued a statement, calling for “meaningful legislation,” to protect the lives of celebrities and the photographers themselves.
