Accused Killer is Juvenile Escapee

Authorities say a California teen involved in a crash that killed five people in Nevada had escaped from an Orange County Juvenile Facility.

Eighteen year old Jean Soriano is accused of driving drunk when he rear ended a van over the wekeend, just outside Las Vegas, Nevada. Seven people were in the van. Five were thrown from the vehicle and eventually all died.

Orange County officials say they just learned about Soriano’s fugitive status this week. He had been missing since March first. They are now looking into whether there were any efforts at all to locate the teen after he escaped.
