Armed robbery in Twentynine Palms

Two people were arrested for robbing four males walking in Twentynine Palms just after 2:00 Sunday morning.

Riverside County Sheriff’s Department says 23 year-old Cedrick Reynold and 23 year-old Antonio Torres, robbed four intoxicated mens walking near the intersection of Aztec Ave and Casita Dr. in Twentynine Palms.

Deputies say Reynolds and Torres robbed the four subjects at gunpoint, firing one round at the victims. None of the victims were hit.

Reynolds and Torres stole the victims’ wallets, money, cell phones and identification cards.

Reynolds and Torres then fled on foot. Deputies later arrested them at a residence in Twentynine Palms, where deputies recovered all of the stolen property.

Reynolds and Torres were arrested and transported to the Morongo Jail where they were booked with bail set at $100,000 each.
