Tuesday is your last chance to catch movie night in Rancho Mirage

Rancho Mirage’s free outdoor movie series willconclude tonight with a screening of the 1943 comedy classic “Road toMorocco.”

The series, begun last month, is part of the city’s 40th anniversary andall movies feature entertainers who “lived, played, and shaped RanchoMirage,” including the Marx brothers, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz,Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, according to the city.

“Road to Morocco” stars the late Coachella Valley residents BingCrosby and Bob Hope. Rancho Mirage City Councilman Scott Hines will introducethe film.

The screening is at 8 p.m. in Whitewater Park at 71560 San JacintoDrive, and city officials are asking people to arrive about 7 p.m.

People can bring blankets, food and drinks. Popcorn and soft drinks willbe sold. Free valet parking will be available.
