High winds expected throughout the Valley today
Gusty west winds are expected to blow through theCoachella Valley today.
“A trough of low pressure will move inland across central Californialate today and tonight,” according to the National Weather Service. “Thistrough will bring gusty west winds through the San Gorgonio Pass and into thenorthern section of the Coachella Valley. Wind gusts in excess of 45 miles perhour are likely along sections of Interstate 10 in this area.”
The NWS scheduled a wind advisory for the Coachella Valley from 2 p.m.today to 3 a.m. Wednesday.
