El Mercadito Meat Market robbed UPDATE

Riverside County Sheriff’s has confirmed they are investigating a robbery at theEl Mercadito Meat Market near Palm Drive and Dillon Road on the border of Desert Hot Springs.

There are few details on the incident at this time. What we do know is that the robbery happened around 9:30 a.m., the suspects have not been located, and the store is closed as police investigate.

UPDATE (from Riverside County Sheriff’s): “Two black males, wearing black hoodies, entered El Mercadito Meat Market. A gun was displayed and they demanded money. They fled with an undisclosed amount of money in a dark colored sedan.”
