Fire in Banning damages the loft of a commercial building
A fire damaged the loft of a commercial building in Banning on Thursday.
The blaze was reported about 5:10 p.m. at a 10,000-square-foot, single-story building at John Street and South San Gorgonio Avenue.
It was contained to the loft at 5:50 p.m. and no injuries or evacuations were immediately reported, according to Riverside County Fire Department spokesman Mark Annas.
The cause was under investigation.
