Three-car wreck in Palm Desert caused by drunken driver
A La Quinta woman is facing DUI charges this morning after police say she caused a three-car wreck in Palm Desert.
Police responded to the collision in the area of Washington Street and Calle Las Brisas at 5:20 p.m. On Tuesday.
Authorities say a 2002 silver Lexus was traveling southbound on Washington Street when it collided with a stopped Honda, which then crashed into a Chevrolet car.
Rachel Rosium, 27, was the driver behind the wheel of the 2002 silver Lexus.
Rosium was arrested for suspicion of DUI and booked into the jail in Indio.
No injuries were reported.
