Desert Hot Springs prepares for annual Christmas Parade

It’s time again for the Desert Hot Springs annual Christmas Parade. Preparations are underway for the event which is held on December, 14, on Palm Drive. The parade begins at 11 a.m.

Organizers said their are over 1,700 participants this year and that number is still growing. There will be five marching bands, floats and dozens of vintage and classic cars on display.

The parade stretches across two miles of Palm Drive. Organizers said you should show up to the event early if you want to get the best spot along the route because the parade continues to get bigger and better each year.
