Driver leads CHP on high speed chase from Palm Desert to 1000 Palms
A police chase came to an end in 1000 Palms.
Police searched the area of Roberts Road and La Canada in 1000 Palms for a suspect after he ran from his car.
The chase began about 5:15 p.m. Tuesday evening on Westbound I-10 from Cook Street to Monterey Avenue.
CHP says the car exited the Monterey exit, then drove down La Canada where he bailed from the car at the end of the cul de sac.
Police searched the area, we do not know at this time if they were able to locate the suspect.
