Car goes over side of Highway 74 in Pinyon Pines
A driver has been taken to the hospital after going off a mountain roadway in Pinyon Pines Friday evening.
According to California Highway Patrol they got a report that a car went off the roadway just after 4:07 p.m. on Highway 74 and Palm Canyon Drive.
According to Cal Fire the patient required moderate extrication from the vehicle and will be transported to an area hospital via Mercy Air ambulance with major injuries.
The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation. The driver was the only person in the car according to Cal Fire.
