The company is bringing UberX, UberBLACK, UberSUV and UberSTRETCH to the desert, and it’s also partnered with exclusive parties and artists to bring locals UberALLACCESS, which will be available during both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Festival promoter Goldenvoice and Uber formed a new partnership that kicks off the beginning of the service in the Coachella Valley.
SunLine finalized plans to expand cab services with American Cab during the festival season. American Cab will bring in 100 more taxis for the three weekends of Coachella and Stagecoach.
Cab companies plan to wait and see what kind of impact Uber makes, but for now, they’re putting their energy into their own businesses.
