Yucca Valley man found after disappearance
Police said a missing Yucca Valley man has been found and is being treated at the JFK emergency room.
Officers say 75-year-old Oscar Nava left his home on Saturday driving a white Ford Ranger truck.
Authorities found his vehicle abandoned on Sunday at the corner of Highway 62 and Kickapoo.
Police searched the area but were only able to find his wallet.
Nava was found on Monday around 10 a.m. in Indio, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
He suffers from mental illness and has gone missing several times before and was located in Palm Springs, Indio and Imperial County.
