Drive-by-shooting sends Cathedral City woman to hospital
A woman has been taken to the hospital after a drive-by-shooting in Cathedral City.
The Cathedral City Police Department said the shooting happened on Wishing Well Trail around 2 p.m. Officers said two men in a car shot at a house on the street and a woman was shot in the leg.
Her injuries aren’t life-threatening.
Wishing Well Trail was blocked off from Ortega Road to 33rd Avenue while police investigated the shooting. They are still looking for the vehicle and working to identify the suspects.
