Search for suspect leads to Sunnylands Estate area
Cathedral City police are looking for a man in connection with a car to car shooting Monday afternoon.
Police responded to a report of shots fired around 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon near Sunny Lane and Duvall.
They determined 2 vehicles were involved and there had been a shooting.
Later, a stolen car was found near La Paz and Los Reyes in Rancho Mirage, near the Sunnylands Estate.
Officers searched the area, with help from the air, and didn’t find anyone.
They were looking for a suspect, described as a Hispanic man with a shaved head. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and has a large tattoo across his chest with large letters.
There are no reports of injuries from the shooting.
