Police investigate shooting in north Indio
Police are investigating a shooting at a park in Indio that took place shortly after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The crime occurred at Yucca Park, located at Kenner Avenue and Yucca Street.
According to police spokesman Ben Guitron, the man who was shot was rushed to a hospital for treatment but there’s no word on his condition.
Neighbors in the area told News Channel 3 and CBS Local 2 that they heard gunshots. Police didn’t have any information regarding suspects.
