Car crashes into 2 palm trees in Palm Desert
Westbound lanes of El Paseo near Ocotillo Drive were closed for about an hour Thursday afternoon when a car crashed into two palm trees, knocking them into the roadway.
The driver wasn’t injured and there was no immediate information regarding the cause of the crash.
Authorities moved the palm trees onto a median to clear the road and a tow truck was called to haul the car away.
El Paseo was reopened shortly after 4 p.m.
