Several shots fired in Palm Springs apartment complex
Officers are investigating after several shots were fired in a Palm Springs apartment complex late Monday night.
Police were called to the Rancheria Del Sol apartments on Calle El Segundo at 11:40 p.m. after a number of people called to report the gunfire. Based on evidence found at the scene, officers said an unknown number of people may have been shooting at each other in the courtyard of the complex.
According to a release from the Palm Springs Police Department, one bullet entered an apartment where a mother and her two sleeping children were in at the time.
Fortunately, nobody was injured in the shooting.
