Swastikas, white supremacist graffiti painted on walls of SoCal high school

Swastikas, profanity and white supremacist graffiti were sprayed on the walls of San Diego’s La Jolla High School over the weekend.

U-T San Diego reports Sunday that police are investigating the vandalism as a hate crime.

San Diego Unified School District spokeswoman Ursela Kroemer said the district allowed police to investigate the black-and-red paint in the high school’s quad before cleaning it up.

She said investigators are reviewing school security camera footage.

Along with the swastikas, the vandals scrawled “white America” and other more profane messages.

Kroemer calls the incident “extremely upsetting and disappointing”
