Coachella gang members arrested in shooting

Two Coachella gang members were jailed Thursday facing attempted murder and related weapons charges after police arrested them for an overnight shooting early Wednesday morning.

Investigators say Cesar Solorazano, 24, and Jesse Salomon, 22, are both documented Coachella gang members involved in a shooting along the 52000 block of Dos Palmas Avenue in the city of Coachella.

A third suspect remains wanted.

The Riverside County Sheriffs Department says three suspects escaped in a black sedan after opening fire on 4 men standing next to a car shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Nobody was hurt in the attack, but the vehicle was hit several times.

Officers served a search warrant at a home on the 1300 block of 2nd Street in Coachella and say they found Solorazano and Salomon inside.

They also say they found a 30-caliber M-4 assault rifle and ammunition.
