Skydiver dies in Lake Elsinore
A skydiver died in Lake Elsinore after an air emergency Saturday, police say.
An employee reported a skydiver was down just after 2:20 p.m. Officers located the victim within minutes of the call.
The man was located north of the airport, near Skydive Elsinore on 20701 Cereal Street.
Advanced life-saving measures were administered, but the victim died on scene, according to Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Rick Garcia.
No details were released about what lead to the emergency, or the identity of the victim.
