Man accused of kidnapping girlfriend out on bail
A man accused of kidnapping his girlfriend is free on bail.
Marshall Eddie Jones Jr., 48, was released from jail Friday on $75,000 bail.
Jones was held on suspicion of kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, rape by force, domestic abuse, among other charges.
Officers responded to Desert Regional Medical Center, Tuesday, where a woman reported she had been kidnapped by Jones, her boyfriend.
She said he held her against her will, at his home, for several days.
Authorities surrounded Jones’ home on the 9700 block of San Rafael where he eventually surrendered.
It’s not clear why the woman went to the hospital.
Jones is due back in court next month.
