TRAFFIC ALERT: Palm Springs collision shuts down intersection

Police and rescue workers were on scene of a collision involving a vehicle and a pole Tuesday morning in Palm Springs.

KESQ News Channel 3 / CBS Local 2 News found the intersection ofCrossley Drive at Dinah Shore Drive was closed to traffic, and motorists were being turned around.

Crews removed the wreckage and the roadway was reopening to traffic at 7:30 a.m.
