Justice Dept: judge’s order on locked iPhone ‘invades no one’s privacy’

The Justice Department has filed a brief saying the judge’s order on the locked iPhone case is “narrow, targeted” and ”invades no one’s privacy”.

The brief was filed on Thursday, March 10 in Riverside County.

Several families who lost loved ones in the San Bernardino terrorist attack also signed a brief on March 3 supporting the government’s action over Apple.

The hearing on the matter remains set for March 22, according to the release from Thom Mrozek with the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles.
