Pet owners warned about fireworks display at PDHS graduation
City officials are warning pet owners about a Saturday morning fireworks display to honor the 2016 graduating class of Palm Desert High School.
Palm Desert High School is located at 74190 Aztec Road.
Palm Desert city spokesman David Hermann said the graduation ceremony at the high school takes place Saturday morning and the fireworks show is expected to begin at about 9:30 a.m.
The fireworks could scare pets in the area.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) advises pet owners to keep their dogs and cats at home in a quiet, sheltered, and escape-proof area during the show.
