Indio High School debuts renovation

On Saturday Indio High School hosted an open house celebration in honor of the completion of the Science Innovation Center. The Agriculture building was the final building at the high school to be completed. The renovation has been in the works for about a decade.

Students in the agriculture department say they are excited to be in a new building and look forward to the opportunities that the program offers them.

Melissa McBride, an Indio High School teacher, helped build the Agriculture department. She says the finished product is something she had never imagined possible. McBride has been a teacher at IHS for nearly 40 years and will be retiring at the end of the school year.
