Winter Storm gets motorist stuck in muddy mess

One Valley woman found herself in a sticky situation Friday morning. “I ended up getting stuck in the mud. It didn’t look so bad going in,” said Kimberly O’Lin, a motorist whose car got stuck in about a foot worth of mud. KESQ and CBS Local 2’s chief photographer, Christopher Flicker, got to O’Lin as she waited for help. O’Lin had been waiting to get her car towed for more than three hours. “AAA sent out a truck, but the truck got stuck. It ended up leaving, and now I’m waiting for the next truck,” said O’Lin. Two tow trucks later and O’Lin and her car were finally back on paved roads. Residents who live in Snow Creek say this is the only road that gets them in and out of their community. Around 2 p.m. crews were on their way to clear the road. AAA advises motorists to pull over if they are unsure of the road conditions in front of them.
