Woman gets trapped in car after road washes out in Snow Creek
A woman was stuck in her car for about three hours Friday morning when her vehicle became stuck in mud after a road was washed out by rain in the Snow Creek community west of Palm Springs.
KESQ and CBS Local 2’s crew at the scene said a AAA tow truck also became stuck while attending to the woman on Snowcreek Canyon Road, prompting another tow truck to arrive to the scene. The woman is being attended to and appears to be okay.

A 100-foot section of Snowcreek Canyon Road is washed out. Authorities said the road is expected to be closed until 2 p.m. Friday while crews work to clear the debris from the roadway.
