Counter Reformation wine bar opens at Parker Palm Springs
A new wine bar is in town. It’s called Counter Reformation and it just opened at Parker Palm Springs.
The chic wine bar pays homage to cafes you find on every street in Europe.
“We really wanted to create a place where our guests can relax and repent, while enjoying really great wine at an affordable price, that won’t break the bank,” said wine bar manager Christina Taboada.
The star of the show, a list of reds and whites you won’t find on anywhere else.
“Our wines are really unique, they’re rare, I feel like they’re one of a kind and they really tell a story,” Taboada said.
At its core Counter Reformation is a wine bar, but you can’t have wine without a little nosh. That’s where executive chef Herve Glin comes in.
“The size is perfect for what you want to try. You can have a little bite or a dinner with us, it’s a great time before you have dinner. Stop by have one, two, three glass of wine,” Glin said.
Glin artfully crafts fun treats like foie gras macaroon and avocado, halumi tartine.
The bar’s concept: Stay as long or as short as you want, come for a glass of wine and stay for a sweet treat. The new spot sure to become a local staple here in the desert.
