Prices climb at the pumps in Inland Empire for sixth consecutive day

The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire rose Monday for the sixth consecutive day, increasing four-tenths of a cent to $2.85.

The average price has risen 4.8 cents over the past six days, including seven-tenths of a cent on Sunday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price is 4.5 cents more than one week ago, 6.1 cents higher than one month ago and 20.2 cents greater than one year ago.
