Banning police investigate after man shot in leg
Police are investigating a shooting in Banning that left a man hospitalized with a leg wound late Wednesday night.
The shooting occurred at 11:53 p.m. near 1100 W. Ramsey St., according to the Banning Police Department. The unidentified victim reported the shooting to police and was later taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Officers conducted “an extensive area search” but could not find any suspects. Police did not disclose a motive or whether one or multiple shooters were suspected in the attack.
