Two people taken to hospital after early morning crash

Two people are in the hospital after being injured in an early morning crash in Palm Springs.

The crash happened at 4 a.m. Sunday on East Tahquitz near the Palm Springs International Airport. Two people sustained minor injuries.

Palm Springs police said alcohol appears to have been a factor in the crash.
