Motorcyclist killed in Palm Springs crash identified

A motorcycle rider, identified as 37-year-old Stephen Miller of Palm Desert, died Saturday night after suffering serious injuries in a crash in Palm Springs.

Palm Springs Police say the crash between the motorcycle and a car happened at the intersection of East Palm Canyon Drive and Escoba drive just after 5:30 p.m.

Police say the driver of the car involved in the crash was not injured.

The intersection was closed while police conducted an investigation, and was re-opened at 1:13 a.m. on Sunday.

The identity of the motorcyclist will be released by the Riverside County Coroner’s Officer once the family of the victim has been notified.
