Loving all Animals makes national announcement at Pets on Parade fundraiser

Loving all Animals, one of the Valley’s no-kill animal shelters, hosted the annual Pets on Parade fundraiser Sunday afternoon.

Those in attendance enjoyed lunch, live auctions and mingling with adoptable pets. What many weren’t expecting was a big, national announcement.

The non-profit, Best Friends Animal Society is partnering with the Valley’s local animal charities and veterinarians to fund all trap, spay and neuter procedures.

“The no-cost neuter and spay is a program that will take the animals, alter them, get them spayed and neutered and return them to their environments,” Pamela Moffitt Green, Pets on Parade co-chair.

Best Friends Animal Society ran a study and learned the Valley is home to 50,000 feral cats. Green says the shelter’s new partnership is one step closer to their ultimate goal, which is a no-kill USA by 2025.
